Crown Zellerbach Canada Limited was a British Columbia forest-products company that barged logs to coastal mills, with a new barge loader at Goliath Bay on Jervis Inlet.

In 1979 the company decided to build a $171 million newsprint machine at its Elk Falls Mill near Campbell River, B.C., and began production at a new planer mill at Fraser Mills in Coquitlam.
