The company

Texaco Canada produced, refined, and marketed petroleum under the Texaco name. The line runs through McColl-Frontenac, the 1927 combination of McColl Brothers and Frontenac Oil Refineries. Texaco of the United States held the Canadian company. By the late 1980s it was described as the fourth-largest oil company in Canada.

The Edmonton plant's fluid catalytic cracking unit was modified, and above-ground piping replaced underground piping at the Montreal plant.
